Our classes
New to Reformer?
If you're new we suggest starting in Foundations then moving to Flow after 4-5 classes.
Foundations
Your starting point - build confidence and learn the basics.
New to Reformer Pilates? Foundations is the perfect place to start. You'll learn the basics, build confidence and get comfortable with the equipment. No experience needed and suitable for all levels of fitness. We recommend beginners take 4-5 Foundations classes and then look to progress to the Flow classes (our general/open level Reformer classes).
If you're pregnant or have a health condition that may affect your movement or ability to exercise, please take a moment to review our guidance before booking.
Flow
Our signature Reformer class
Flow is our signature Reformer class and the one that best captures what Rise Reformer is all about. Combining strength, control and purposeful movement, it's designed to help you feel stronger, move better and leave feeling energised. We recommend beginners take 4-5 Foundations classes before moving to Flow. Once you're into Flow classes you can stay here long-term, with instructors providing layering (options to make more challenging when you're ready).
Dynamic
Coming later.. a more challenging class to build strength, control and endurance.
Rise in Caterham is new so while we open and establish ourselves locally we're only adding Foundations and Flow level classes to the timetable. We will be introducing our Dynamic classes when everyone's settled into their classes and routines, and when we've asked you where in the timetable you'd like to see Dynamic classes added.
Classes with childcare
Supervised on-site childcare while you're in class
We have organised for on-site childcare to be provided as part of our site-share partnership with Clubhouse. The following classes are bookable as normal via the timetable on the mobile app. If you require childcare you can then use the booking form at the link below to arrange it.

Pregnancy
Reformer helps strength, posture and mobility.
We welcome clients who are pregnant and want to continue moving safely and confidently throughout pregnancy. Reformer Pilates can be a great way to support strength, posture, mobility and overall wellbeing, however pregnancy affects everybody differently and some exercises may need to be adapted.
We don't set a stage (number of weeks) up to which you can attend classes with us. However it's obviously important we are able to ensure you can remain comfortable and that we can adapt exercises in a safe way.
Modifications typically become more important from the second trimester onwards (12-16 weeks) and we ask you look for pregnancy-specific classes from the third trimester.
Please read the following before booking:
Before attending
Please let us know if you are pregnant before attending your first class. We recommend discussing exercise during pregnancy with your doctor, particularly if you are new to exercise, have any concerns, or complications.
Choosing the right class
Foundations classes are generally the best place to start if you are new to Reformer Pilates. Some class formats, exercises or intensity levels may not be suitable during pregnancy and our instructors may recommend an alternative class or approach.
Refund policy
We operate a refund policy for customers who attend their first class and find it is unsuitable due to pregnancy or an underlying health condition.
Injuries and health conditions
Many people join us to improve strength, confidence and everyday movement while managing an injury, recovering from a setback or exercising alongside a health condition. Reformer Pilates can often be adapted to suit individual needs, but there are some situations where additional guidance may be helpful.
Please let us know before attending if any of the following apply:
-
Pregnancy or recent postnatal recovery
-
Arthritis or joint pain
-
Back or neck pain
-
Recent injury or surgery
-
Osteoporosis
-
Hypermobility
-
Joint replacements
-
Balance concerns or mobility limitations
-
Long-term health conditions that affect movement or exercise
-
Any medical advice to modify physical activity
Our approach
Our instructors are here to support and guide your experience, but they are not medical professionals. Please let your instructor know before class if you have any health considerations so we can help with modifications where appropriate.
If you have recently had surgery, have been advised to limit exercise, are experiencing significant pain, or are unsure whether Reformer is suitable for you, we recommend speaking to your GP, consultant, physiotherapist or healthcare professional before attending.
For some conditions or stages of recovery, we may recommend starting with a Foundations class or waiting until a later stage before participating.
If you're unsure, please get in touch — we're always happy to help you decide whether Rise Reformer is right for you.
